Why would someone want an emotional experience, and how to make it popular?

What is an emotional experience?

Emotion-provoking or emotional experience is a content-rich event where an outside impact influences a person's emotional state. It is also called a unit "in a constant dialectic relationship between the representation of the outside world and how the world is experienced by the person." There exists a concept of Corrective Emotional Experience - "reexposure of the patient, under more favorable circumstances, to the emotional situations which he could not handle in the past." As a creator, you can formulate or frame the emotional experience in a way to create the desired emotional impact on the recipient. Emotional experience is emotional caregiving and support taken to a new level.

What is a multisensory experience?

Multisensory experience is an “...impressions formed by specific events, whose sensory elements have been carefully crafted by someone.” (Velasco and Obrist, 2020). On Emotions Market, multisensory experiences are being designed and run by experience creators and listed on Emotions Market. Sensory experience receivers / recipients /buyers contact creators via contact details on their listing. All business is being done direct between buyers and sellers. Our multisensory experiences should be made, focusing on the senses of the recipient, meaning only good, no harm and being transparent abouts aims, and details of experience. Tailoring of the multisensory experience is a norm.

You are welcome to design your sensory or emotional experience and post an ad in sections like alternative medicineemotional release, emotion-focused therapy,  energy, or companionship categories. However, we are not a directory of professionals, so make your experience stand out from the sensory or emotional side - generic ad posts will be deleted.

Mental health

If you are worried about your buyer's mental health, please see this advice for the UK and Mental health crisis helplines page. Mental Health Foundation published How to support someone with a mental health problem.

Feelings are kind of the raw data we experience as well as the things we like and dislike. I feel like emotions are more than simply experiencing the raw data. Emotions are a reaction to those raw data points. Emotions are reactions to our feelings

Should I become the emotional experience creator?

Being an emotional experience creator isn't for everyone. You've got to be a very caring, emotionally intelligent person, too - essentially, you will be performing the emotional caregiver role for someone.

Emotions Market can offer you a new stream of business if you say YES to all 3 questions:

  1. Will you be working as an individual and sort your complaints, payments, and tax affairs yourself?
  2. Do you understand emotions and believe you can create and implement an emotional experience for a stranger in a safe way?
  3. Are you ready for situations where some of your clients may have issues, and you must deal with them yourself?

If you agree, you are welcome to sign up and create an experience; it's free. Learn more in our emotional experience resources section.
