Describe what will happen during the experience
Yoga is a powerful healing tool, now scientifically proven to have beneficial effects on the brain, emotions and neuro system including enhanced sensory integration, self-awareness and regulation. The practice coupled with breathing exercises help to calm the mind and reduce stress and anxiety. This yoga based movement session will have a focus on sensory needs for young people 13-16 who require support with self-regulation.
This session has been programmed to be age appropriate for the following groups:
13:00: Ages 13-16*
*Under 13’s must be accompanied / observed throughout the session by a responsible adult.
We aim to be as inclusive as possible and ask that you let us know if you have any particular requirements at point of booking.
Check in opens 15 mins before each session at the National Sports Centre. On arrival you will be met by one of the instruction team and taken to the session venue the rest of your group.
Advance booking required. This is a FREE ADMISSION event. Tickets are limited to two (2) per person.
