Sensory Stitch with Asha Vaidyanath – Sun, 26 Nov 2023 12:00 – 15:00 GMT
Join artist Asha Vaidyanath in this intimate and immersive sensory workshop, to explore colour, tactility and translate a memory, an emotion, and place into cloth landscapes. Together, we’ll explore composition, colour and stitch techniques to create imbued textile landscape, using stitch as a process to help us slow down and reflect on our inner/outer worlds. No experience with stitch necessary. We’ll use a combination of naturally-dyed yarns, cloths and vintage textiles to create our pieces.
