Inspired by Rumi’s masterpiece, “The Guest House”, this workshop welcomes in new ways of greeting our feelings. Before we could think, we felt. Think of this day course as a school for your heart. Just as we can improve how we think, we can get better at feeling, too. Emotional Intelligence (EI) is a powerful asset to enhance each moment of your life. Guided by an Acceptance and Commitment (ACT) therapist, you will use experiential learning to develop tools in emotional self-mastery. In just two hours you will understand the core essence of ACT, how to ‘walk the Matrix’, the ACT Hexaflex and will discover your ‘True North’. ACT has been identified by the American Psychological Association as an empirically supported treatment for stress, depression, mood disorders, anxiety, OCD, chronic pain, and more.
