TEA CEREMONY and GONG BATH

You will be welcomed in a beautiful and much cared space with mats, blankets and cushions provided for your comfort.

The session begins with the tea (highest grade green, oolong, pu-erh or heicha) while sitting on the cushions on the floor. After about an hour we lie down to experience a peaceful sound bath with gongs, singing bowls and other instruments.

Tea Ceremony:

Artisan tea, brewed and appreciated in a special ritualistic manner, offers an unforgettable sensory experience with a profound feeling of peace and stillness.

We drink tea slowly and mindfully to explore the senses of smell, taste, touch, to be present to all the sounds, to all we see, feel and sense; and through the following our senses we stop the chatter of a busy mind, we stop thinking about future or past, we experience and live the actual moment being ‘here’ and ‘now’, finding beauty and subtlety in simple things.

Sound Bath:

Skillfully played gongs, singing bowls and some other instruments can create interesting sensations felt on the body and induce a meditative and mysterious state of consciousness, an impression of being bathed in the ocean or floating in a cosmic space, sometimes an out-of-body experience, and often accompanied by rich imagery dreams.

The experience is unique and different to each individual. It often brings a profound healing and recharging effect that might last for a few days after the session.
