Frida Kahlo crafted her style with a specific idea in mind: to be an alluring and striking public persona. Art beyond the canvas. While her traditional, colourful dress of the Tehuana region and elaborate Mesoamerican accessories are iconic, her unseen signature scent was also curated to dramatic effect.

The Perfumes of Frida Kahlo workshop teaches aspiring perfumers how to develop and formulate the essence of Frida’s signature fragrance.

This 2-hour workshop is a multisensory immersion into the art of Frida Kahlo’s bold and feminine fragrances. Guided by a perfumery, product development and design expert, participants will gain the skills and confidence to formulate their very own version of Frida’s perfume without the overwhelm or uncertainty about where to start.

Get inspired by a curated scent bar of floral and plant essences, and isolated aroma chemicals. Discover harmonies of citrus, heady florals and the sensual ambery base notes Frida favoured.
